INFLUENCE OF DEFECTS ON PROPERTIES OF SPUTTERED CoCrAIY COATINGS

The influence of defects on the oxidation, hot corrosion and thermal shock properties of sputtered Co-30Cr-6Al-0.5Y coatings was investigated.The results indicated that the nodular defects reduced the properties of the coatings.For the oxidation,the nodular defects resulted in the severe internal oxidation of aluminium,as a result,the pure alu mina scale could not form at very high temperature such as at 1 100℃.For the hot corrosion,the nodular defects served as the short-path for the diffusion of sulfur into the coating and the substrate,and caused the sulfidation,of the specimen.Moreover,the nodular defects became the crack source during the thermal shock test and decreased the thermal shock resistance.

反应溅射氧化铝薄膜对CoCrAlY涂层抗高温氧化性能的影响

研究了反应溅射氧化铝薄膜对CO-30Cr-6Al-0.5Y涂层抗高温氧化性能的影响。结果表明,3.5μm厚的Al_2O_3薄膜可大大改善CoCrAlY涂层抗1000~1100℃的氧化性能。在1000℃下,C0-30Cr-6Al-0.5Y涂层表面可以形成保护性良好的Al_2O_3膜,在此情况下,反应溅射Al_2O_3膜可大幅度降低CoCrAlY涂层的氧化速率,在1100℃,CoCrAlY涂层己不能形成单一具有保护性的Al_2O_3膜,而预先沉积氧化铝薄膜的COCrAlY涂层表面的氧化物主要由α-Al_2O_

溅射CoCrAlY涂层中缺陷对其性能的影响

研究了溅射Co-30Cr-6Al-0.5Y涂层中缺陷对涂层抗高温氧化,热腐蚀及热疲劳性能的影响。结果表明:在氧化条件下,缺陷导致Al的内氧化,在1100℃时,由于Al的大量内消耗,涂层表面已不能形成单一的氧化铝膜,使氧化性能下降;在热腐蚀条件下,缺陷成为硫向涂层中扩散的通道,导致涂层及基体的硫化;在冷热疲劳条件下,缺陷成为裂纹源,在交变应力作用下,裂纹向基体中扩展,降低了涂层的热疲劳性能。

The phase composition of Co-30Cr-6Al-0.5Y coating deposited by planar magnetron sputtering as well as the effect of sputtering parameters on it have been investigated.The sputtered coating is composed of hep ε-phase of fcc α-phase of Co solid solution with a mi- nority of β-CoAl intermetallic phase.The hcp ε-Co phase and the fcc χ-Co phase assumed a <100>and <110>preferred orientation respectively.Both the phase type and orientation extent depend on the sputtering parameters.If the substrate surface is parallel to the target face during sputtering,the coating will be of fine crystallite with compact structure and smooth surface;if it is rotated,the coating will be to the contrary.
